The compressor is equipped with a frequency converter and direct drive, making it up to 35% more energy-efficient than conventional screw compressors. Thanks to the frequency converter, the compressor produces exactly the amount of air that is consumed, has a soft start, eliminates motor start “PEAK” moments in the power grid, maintains constant working pressure, and does not require as large an air tank as standard screw compressors.
